Today’s typical lifestyle is working against our natural tendencies. We spend most of our time sitting at desks, staring at computers. It’s slowing down our bodies, cluttering our thoughts, and generally leaving us feeling drained and unexcited about life.

Yoga can help to reverse the damage we’ve done to our bodies and minds. It can bring back the strength you’ve lost, increase your flexibility (that you probably never really had), and quieten your mind to allow for clarity of thought and energy that no amount of coffee could ever provide.

For those of you that are concerned about whether you need to be a “spiritual” person to properly practice yoga, stop worrying. While yoga is traditionally a spiritual practice, my classes are about training your body and mind, and my teaching is best described as motivational rather than spiritual. In other words, this is a neutral and non-threatening environment. My only concern is that you feel relaxed and are able to reconnect with your body.
